Riverland Poultry Limited, located near New Zealand"s capital, Auckland, takes great grandparent stock from Cobb UK, and sells parents into New Zealand and its distribution area. Through its sister company, Bromley Park Hatcheries, Riverland Poultry Limited distributes broiler chicks to growers who in turn supply some of the small processors. The first grandparents were placed in this company in 1989, but due to rising transport and quarantine costs, Riverland has moved on to a great-grandparent program.
